Have you ever felt frustrated that you entered into a “bad deal”? Do you feel intimidated or out of your comfort zone when negotiating with someone? Would you like to feel comfortable, confident and in control when you negotiate? This course will teach you the basic skills and tools you need to become a successful negotiator. Learn how to determine your “BATNA,” “WATNA,” “WAP” and “ZOPA,” when to walk way from a deal, and how to successfully “close” the negotiation. Learn how to deal with aggressive and unethical people, along with issues affecting negotiation such as cultural differences, verbal and non-verbal communications and “positions” vs. “interests.” The course includes (3) hours of live lecture and one (1) hour of mock negotiation activity.
